EA-6B Prowler

After a bit of a break from art, I returned to it jumping right into a big 24" x 18" drawing of an EA-6B Prowler nearly launch from a carrier. The EA-6B Prowler was the primary tactical jamming aircraft of the US Navy and the US Marine Corps from the early 1970s to 2019. A Short Recess

I'm taking a short recess from my painting of "Grizzly Falls" and filling in the gaps with a few drawings. The reason for this is that I've been called on to teach a student how to draw. Painting a de Havilland Canada DHC-2 Beaver

Since I recently finished the large oil painting of the ocean, I asked my son what airplane he'd like me to paint. I think I knew the answer already, and to my delight, I was correct. He wanted me to paint a de Havilland Canada DHC-2 Beaver. He's building the balsa model of this iconic airplane as well, so my guess was good! I really love the DH Beaver as well.
